Artist Bio
Jessica, the youngest of three children, was born in San Antonio, Texas in 1983. After moving to Nebraska and then Colorado, the family settled in Arizona.
Jessica was a precocious youngster and showed an uncanny talent for drawing at an early age. An active individual, her other interests include running, hiking, horseback riding, and tennis.
In 2005 Jessica received a scholarship at the Scottsdale Artists' School and took a workshop with R.A. Heichberger, a multi-award winning artist whose work is shown in prestigious galleries across the country. This was a turning point in her art career, as she began to pursue the art of landscape painting. Jessica now studies privately under Heichberger. "After 25 years of teaching, I have never seen such a perceptive and talented young artist. Jessica is only 24, but she is very mature. Week by week her technique improves and she is a natural for this type of painting. Painting landscapes is clearly her passion, and her passion continues to grow," Heichberger says.
