Kenny McKenna

Oil
18X36

In 1876, Charles Goodnight opened the JA ranch in the Palo Duro Canyon. At its peak, the ranch supported more than 100,000 head of cattle. Col. Goodnight operated the ranch until 1890.

Although only a fraction of its original size, the JA Ranch remains a working ranch today. Charley may be gone, but the icons of the ranch remain. Kenny has captured the soul of Charley and his ranch in this fine painting.
